Overview

Hungry Canadian uses HC Points as a loyalty reward system. Points are earned on eligible orders and can be redeemed during checkout when available.

Note: Promotions and program details may change over time. If you believe your points are missing or incorrect, contact support with your order reference and approximate time of issue.

New Customer Bonus

When you sign up as a new user, you currently receive 1000 HC Points, which are equal to $5.

This is a promotional offer and may be updated in the future, but it is intended to be long-term.

How You Earn HC Points

  • Customers earn 10 points for every CA$2.00 spent on orders.
  • A minimum order subtotal of $10 is required to earn points.
  • The maximum points earned on a single order is 500 HC Points.

How to Use Points at Checkout

Points are automatically calculated at checkout. If you have eligible points available, you will see the option to apply them before payment on the checkout screen.

  • Minimum points to redeem: 250 HC Points
  • Minimum order subtotal to redeem points: $15

If you do not see a points option during checkout, it may be due to minimums not being met or points not being available on that order.

Point Expiry

HC Points expire after 12 months.

Expiry is intended to keep balances accurate over time. If you have questions about your points balance or expiry, contact support for account-specific help.

Refer & Earn

Hungry Canadian also offers a referral program that rewards both the new customer and the advocate.

Referred customer (new user)

  • When a user accepts a referral, they earn $5 (1000 HC Points) on their first order.

Advocate (person who referred)

  • The advocate earns $5 (1000 HC Points) when the referred customer places their first order.

Referral rewards are issued as HC Points and follow the same expiry rule (12 months).

If your points or referral reward do not appear as expected, contact support with your name, approximate time of the issue, and the related order reference (if available).
